Traviance “Tray” Shelley the Founder of “Save Yo Sole”, a sneaker restoration business in Macon, Ga. I was raised in Bellevue, where I fell in love with fashion and sneaker culture. My first job was at the Macon Mall Foot Locker; where I began collecting sneakers. Even though I was a part time employee at Foot Locker, working around sneakers, sparked a passion inside of me. Once I graduated from Westside High School I put my passion to the side and started working. I worked numerous jobs like Georgia Power Plant Scherer, Budweiser, Postal Fleet Services & Norfolk Southern. On July 23, 2019, while working at Norfolk southern, I was in a bad train accident. The accident left me traumatized. I needed a way to deal with the stress and trauma from the accident, so I turned to my sneaker passion. Thinking about it for a while and with my last $100 dollars, I jumped in the restoration business. The up keep for sneakers can sometimes feel impossible when you have a large collection but this brought me peace and eased my mind.
